My work depicts a constant existential commentary, it’s an insight into my internal monologue. My illustrations are satirical; they always have a political undercurrent spiced with a little ‘stick it to the man’ feminist attitude. Often my work is a question to the audience and begs for participation, whether that be an intellectual discourse, or a physical action. No topic is too big, too small or too taboo, anything can be made into an interesting conversation. From childhood mental health through to the media’s nonchalance when publicising war and subsequent (and continued) mis-treatment of Refugees, I have made a point of pursuing a tactful yet engaging visual discourse through my practice.
